I am from Memphis. I drove to MS to sell a refrigerator to a MS resident. They wrote me a banckcorp south check and promised me it was good. I said I don't take checks. Because I had driven all the way from Memphis. they looked trustworthy so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. They even were honest and told me they had plenty of money in thr account and if you have any problems have the bank call me. Now at this point I am already weary. So I do what she says because I have her adress so I'm,thinking this lady is not trying to take me why is the bank giving me such a hard time. Now remember I have just made a long trek to MS and I'm not going to drive all the way back to Memphis to wait and see if a check is bad. Anyways I proceed to get the check cashed. And guess what?? Funds were not available. Now, the lady told me to tell the bank to call if any issues arose. Guess what?!!?! The bank refused to call her. So in a hurry I ran to my truck to go back and get my refrigerator I sold and in the hurry I broke my key off in my door by accident because, i was worrried the one and only time I take a check I got took when i thought the person and bank were profesional and reusable. the first time I take a check this happens so
Do not use this bank! They are not capable of performing all banking tasks. They will not cash your checks. They use discriminatory practices!! Stay far away from this nightmare of a bank. They would rather you go threw hell than cash a legitimate check. Does not cater to customer!!
Do not come to this bank. They are very lazy.
